  • How often should a hoist be inspected?

    The minimum recommendation for hoist inspections is annual. However, if you are worried about your hoist, you should have it inspected immediately.

  • What is a hoist inspection?

    A hoist inspection includes a visual inspection of all components, housing covers, hooks, and all other main components. Lubrication is also applied as required throughout all components. It also includes the disassembly and inspection of load breaks, as well as a load test at 125% of rated capacity.
