For example, this end of hook lifting device – designed and fabricated by Zo-Air to customer specifications -- transports the railroad wheel, axle and gear box for maintenance. It balances the wheel-axle assembly and equalizes the gear box for oil drainage at a repair stand. The assembly, complete with spreader beam and wheel grabs, has a rated capacity of 7,500 lbs. |
